FOOTBALL READY FOR FALL SCRIMMAGE

The fall is here and that means football season is near. On Thursday, the Bearcat football team will finally get their chance to take on an opponent other than themselves. For the annual fall scrimmage, a familiar foe comes into town in the form of the Yellow Jackets from C.E. Byrd High School out of Shreveport. This will be the first opportunity for fans to see the 2025 Bearcat football team in live action coming off of their 3rd straight trip to New Orleans for the LHSAA Division I Non Select Championship game. Ruston is looking to replace starters in many key positions and will use this as a chance to see new faces in all phases of the game. Scrimmage time are set for: Freshmen @ 6 PM and JV/V @ 7PM in Hoss Garrett Stadium. Fans can get their tickets by visiting the GoFan App or by clicking TICKETS on the website menu.
